1. HubSpot shares the state of social media in 2023 (freebie alert!).
It doesn’t matter what social media platform you’re on, all you have to do is blink and something is changing. Okay, maybe that’s being a little dramatic but everything from algorithms to new features, and more, rapidly change on social media! 2. Rachel Andrea encourages us to get to know our customers.
Having customers is great, repeat customers even better, but actually knowing your customers – what makes them tick, take action, and more – is the key to building a successful business. Rachel says:
You might have some preconceptions about your customers and whether you’re their perfect fit, but it isn’t until you get up close and personal that you learn about them on a deeper level. Once you achieve this understanding, the results will resonate throughout your entire business.

3. Téa at Story Bistro reminds us of 7 basic story types & why they matter to our marketing.
Storytelling is something people have been doing for ages. Téa says:
We’re hard-wired to crave them (stories) and it’s why we’re 22 times more likely to remember a story than a factual statement.
It’s how we connect to each other, find our “tribe” and learn our way around the world.
You know this. I know this.
But most of us aren’t consciously using storytelling to market our businesses…

In a recent Momentum Coaching Mastermind meeting, Kelly mentioned she’s had some conversations with creators that don’t think having a website is important – it’s easier to house everything on social media!
