Mom Webs Video Promo Contest: Win a Year of Free Hosting!

We hear it all the time, our customers LOVE our services!

As great as it is to hear, we want to know WHY you love us and if you will take the time to tell us in a creative promotional video, you’ll be entered to win a full year of Mom Webs Hosting at no cost!

How to create a video?  You can do it anyway you like.  Web cam, flip cam, screen capture, animation… it’s entirely up to you.  What should your video say?  Feel free to choose one of these topic starters or make up one of your own:

  • I Will Never Choose any Web Host but Mom Webs because…
  • Mom Webs is the #1 Choice of Work at Home Moms because…
  • This is how Mom Webs helped me in a pinch…
  • Why I would have quit by now if it hadn’t been for Mom Webs…
  • How Mom Webs helps me to make money online as a WAHM…
  • The Only Web Host(ing) that I’d Recommend to My Sister is…

The main idea is to tell others why you love Mom Webs and have fun doing it :)

Submission Rules!

  • Make your video between 45 and 60 seconds in length.
  • Publish your video to YouTube and be sure to tag it with ‘Mom Webs’ and ‘Web Hosting’.
  • Leave a comment on this post letting us know about your video (include a link) and be sure to provide a good email address and your full name.
  • Submission Deadline: Midnight, February 8th, 2010

What Happens Then?

We will publish each video submission on our site and invite votes from the web community.  Voting will start on February 9th and end at midnight on February 15th.

One vote per household. (We track this by IP addresses – so votes from duplicate IP numbers will be deleted.)

    Question, if you don’t mind? I currently only have the MLM company-provided website, and have been considering augmenting that with one of my own. As I do not yet have a website, (with MomWebs or any other host), I can not fully continue any of the statements above, because I do not have the experiential answers. Is there a way (statement to continue) that would be appropriate for me to answer, in the hopes that if I won, I would be able to begin my own web presence as a MomWebs customer?

    I did it. I created a video. However it turned out to be over 2 minutes long. There are so many thing I love about MomWebs. It was hard to edit it to only 60 secs.

    It’s an animation with no audio. Sorry, I completely forgot about the contest until I got the email at work this morning. So I whipped one up quickly! Next time I want to do an actual video.

    On an added note, I found it very difficult to manage time doing something like this, but it was fun and has inspired me to try other animations and hopefully some video in the future!

    p.s. Our finished product is actually a video clip. Since youtube was down the quickest way we knew how to make a slideshow was through smilebox, photo video sharing program we have and we were too rushed to figure out how to do it on PPT.

    p.p.s. No only did my girls help draw the pictures, but they came up with their creative minds came up with the ideas and jokes too ;-)

    I finally was able to upload my video. It was thrown together last minute because I was on the fence on whether or not I should do it. My husband directed, and I have to say that I did NOT follow his vision as you will see when you watch cuz he had hoped for a SMILING busy mom! hahaha! oopsy! My three kids that are still at home joined in the fun and were very excited that we are posting this on youtube. We had a lot of fun filming and thank you for the opportunity.
